The agreement
These terms are between you and the developer of Jottally. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app; where the two differ, these terms add to it for what Apple leaves to developers. By using Jottally you agree to both.
Using Jottally
You can write up to 3 invoices for free. After that, writing new invoices needs a Jottally Pro subscription. Everything else stays free: opening, sending and editing the invoices you have, and recording payments.
Jottally Pro
- Pro costs $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year in the US, or the price the App Store shows in your country, including any tax it adds.
- New subscribers get 7 days free. Cancel before the 7 days end and you won’t be charged.
- Apple charges your Apple account when the trial ends, and again at the start of each period, until you cancel.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before a period ends to stop the next charge. Cancel in Jottally (Menu, then Jottally Pro) or in your iPhone’s Settings, under Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple’s refund policy.
The price promise
We won’t raise the price of your subscription while it stays active. If we change the price for new subscribers, yours stays as it is for as long as your subscription renews without a break. If it lapses and you subscribe again later, the price at that time applies.
Your invoices are yours
You own everything you put into Jottally. Cancelling never locks you out of your invoices: you can open them, send them, record payments and back them up to a file.
Your responsibilities
- What your invoices say is up to you: amounts, tax rates, tax numbers and any wording your country requires. Jottally helps with the layout and the sums; it isn’t tax or legal advice.
- Keep your own records as the law where you work requires. iCloud and backup files help; they don’t replace your accountant.
- Use Jottally lawfully, and only for invoices you have the right to send.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to make Jottally right, but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost business, lost profits or indirect loss, and our total liability for anything to do with the app is limited to what you paid for Jottally Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the new version goes here with a new date, and the app will tell you about changes that matter. You can stop using Jottally at any time by deleting it and cancelling Pro. These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is established, without taking away the protection of the consumer laws where you live.
